The Brevard Cultural Alliance Presents Deep Field: The Impossible Magnitude of our Universe at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex!

On Friday, November 16th, a unique film and musical experience, inspried by the Hubble Space Telescope’s iconic Deep Field image, permiers at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex! The film, titled Deep Field: The Impossible Magnitude of our Universe, was inspired by Grammy award-winning composer  Eric Witacre’s symphonic word Deep Field and features Hubble’s stunning imagery including brand new visualizations and fly-throughs of far-flung galaxies, nebulas, and star clusters that depict the awesome beatuy of the universe.

* A first-of-its-kind collaboration between Eric Witacre, producers Music Productions, multi-award-winning artists 59 Productions, scientists and visualizers from the Space Telescope Science Institute.
*Soundtrack & film features a new, epic Vitrual Chior with singers from 120 contries-more than 8,000 voices aged 4-87, with the Royal Philharmonic orchestra and Eric Witacre Singers.

29th Annual Tournament For Sight hosted by Satellite Beach Lion’s Club!

Brevard Zoo – Winter Camp sign ups!

Elementary school children are invited to explore the history of Florida Wildlife and animal adoptions as part of this year’s winter break camps at the Brevard Zoo!

This winter, the Zoo is offering two themed camps: Florida Wildlife Expedition and Amazing Animals. Both are broken up for children in kindergarten through second grade and third grade through fourth. The first camp, which will run January 2-4th, invites children to uncover secrets of Wild Florida as they compare local critters to animals of the past and around the world. The second camp will run January 7th-9th and will allow campers to explore a variety of habitats and discover what adaptions animals need to survive in their environments.

Central Florida Chamber Winds to perform 2 Works by Richard Strauss’ “The Invalid’s Workshop”.

The Central Florida Chamber Winds presents “The Invalid’s Workshop” – Richard Strauss’ Serenade Op.7 and the seldom preformed Sonatine No.1 at 3:00PM on Sunday, November 18th at the Suntree United Methodist Church- 7400 N Wickham Rd, Melbourne, FL 32940. This is a FREE concert to all who wish to attend.

The Central Florida Chamber Winds will perform 2 works by Richard Strass; Serenade Op.7 and the Sonatine No.1, from “The Invalid’s Workshop”. The two works were composed at opposite times in Strauss’ life, the serenade at 16 and the sonatine near the end of this life, while grief stricken and convalescing from the momentous events of WWII.
